O'Grady's on the Pier Restaurant - Barna, Galway

Friday night's dinner.

This is one of several restaurants in our little area of Knocknacarra (suburb of Galway just 15 minutes' drive into city centre.)  It is quite near O'Donnelly's Pub and The Twelve, the restaurant where we'd dined with Sean and Mary the day we arrived.

As you can see by my photos, the place has been dressed up in the last three years!

My chicken and Chari's mussells.

Photographing the dolphins in Galway Bay.

A typical overcast Ireland evening, which later gave way to glorious sunshine, and then back to cloudy and a misty rain.

Local cattle (look closely.)

A stroll down the lane after dinner.

Views of Galway Bay.

And a couple of guys we met after dinner, who had just finished a swim in the bay -- all 60 degrees of its water!  And it was a cool and breezy night (low 50's) after a sunny week in the 60's.  Brrrr!
