Spy Cam

This is hanging on one of the bathroom walls...

...and we are getting suspicious that it might be a web cam.

Dinner by the Sea Promenade

Dinner at Galleon down by Galway Bay and the Prom.  Sunny but windy after-dinner walk on the seaside promenade down to Galway Bay Hotel for after-dinner drinks with our Irish gents.

Galleon

Love the handpainted mural.

After dinner stroll down to the promenade and along the bay.

Christ the King Church.

Black Cat boutique hotel.

Holiday Hotel.

Breakfast for tomorrow.  They serve eggs, traditional breakfasts.

A recommended dinner spot.

Start of the promenade.

The signs here are in English and old Irish.

Bouquets tied to the beach railings.  We wondered what they were all about.  This card attached to one tells it all.

Ending at Galway Bay Hotel.

And goodnight to our Irish gents.  (Gotcha!  Giggle.)

European Street Life

Three decades have passed since I first experienced European street life -- the musicians, street artists, jugglers and performers -- once quite different from anything in the States, now having alighted in American big cities, too.

Still, the feel in Europe is always unique, owing partly, or perhaps mainly, to the myriad languages and variety of garb one witnesses in the surrounding crowds of onlookers here.

Whatever the difference, I always love the experience more in European cities.

Chari's favorite.

My favorite.

Like home.

Sweet way to end.
